Join TCU’s Glittery Circle @ Bread and Net

  • The oil from the Cedar of Lebanon has been used for centuries to heal. Joining TCU’s Circle at Bread & Net may also help you heal :) Give it a try!

  • Did you know that Lebanon is the ONLY place on earth where you can ski and go to the beach all on the same day?

What: Circle
Date: November 17
Time: 9:30–11:00 (Asia/Beirut) time
Where: Bread & Net 2022

We are happy to share that TCU’s very own Selma Zaki, our Director of Community Mental Health, will be conducting a Circle at Bread and Net on November 17th at 9:30–11:00 (Asia/Beirut) time. This is a great opportunity for Arabic-speaking community members to take part in a space that will help them connect with others and learn how to increase the health, joy and happiness of ourselves and our communities!

We Promise it Will be a Glittery Experience!

Selma Zaki is both Lebanese and mental health professional and has been working with digital rights defenders for over two years, helping us improve our knowledge and habits around what it means to heal and find joy in our lives, despite our difficult work and the contexts we face. By joining the Circle, you will be introduced to breathe and movement work, and reflect with our community members.

While the session is capped at 12 people, make sure to say hi to Selma, and ask her about the services she is currently offering our community. In addition, she will be hosting a stand at Bread & Net where you can access your health, and learn about simple things you can do to improve it.

Since more TCU staff members were not able to join Bread & Net this year (our favorite community event) please make sure to give her a hug from us. We deeply sharing bread with her in person!

Have questions? Email Selma at selma@digitalrights.community or see her in person at Bread & Net (remember she will be hosting a table while there!)
