Seeking a Facilitator

We are looking for a facilitator for a team retreat focusing on building vision and strengthening strategy. Given travel restrictions due to the global pandemic, facilitated discussions will happen virtually. In addition, because of the diverse timezones of team members, the facilitation will need to be spread out over a few days over several weeks.

Our ideal facilitator will guide our small but global team through conversations on virtual collaboration, internal processes and programming. They must have experience conducting virtual facilitation, have strong cross-cultural skills, and experience working with nonprofits. Bonus points if they have experience working with movements, digital rights communities, and/or have knowledge in community cultivation and building.

  • Have at least five years of experience providing facilitation to professional teams.

  • Can conduct facilitation virtually, and understand how to use virtual tools.

  • Strong facilitation and cross-cultural communication skills.

  • Experience working with nonprofits and/or movements.

  • Experience facilitating discussions around internal processes, operations and programming.

Our mission is to promote and defend the universal human rights of freedom of expression and information around the world, through international advocacy, campaigns, legal analysis, and regional and national projects. ARTICLE 19 operates internationally: although our international secretariat is based in London, we have regional teams based in the Americas, Asia, MENA, Europe, and Africa through an established network of offices and personnel.
