TCU is Covered by Portugal’s Most Viewed New Program Following a Meet and Greet!
IUS OMNIBUS, a Portugal-based citizen protection and digital rights organization, organized an event to welcome the Team CommUNITY’s Global Gathering to Portugal. In addition, the ambitious campaign, Open Up Algorithm, was launched. In attendance were diverse Portuguese civil society organizations, companies, government officials, and open source community leaders. Team CommUNITY had the opportunity to present their three-year vision, and begin discussions on how it could better support the local Portuguese community in coming years.

How We are Approach Safety, Security and Challenges for the Global Gathering
The Global Gathering in Portugal is less than three months away and we think it's important to recap the challenges we are facing and what we are doing as Team CommUNITY in response to them. This is our first annual event after the Covid pandemic and is part of a 3-year vision to grow the space in a more sustainable and safe way to the size pre-pandemic.

The Wellbeing Monthly: Once a Month Psychosocial Educational Workshop for Digital Rights Defenders
Team CommUNITY is happy to announce The Wellbeing Monthly, where once a month we host a psychosocial educational workshop designed for digital rights defenders. The series will run from June to December and will be led by diverse mental health professionals. The sessions will focus on psychoeducation and coping mechanisms on diverse topics including anxiety and fear, guilt and survivors guilt, defeat and hopelessness, trauma, and burnout and stress.
