Team CommUNITY is happy to announce The Wellbeing Monthly, where once a month we host a psychosocial educational workshop designed for digital rights defenders. The series will run from June to December and will be led by diverse mental health professionals. The sessions will focus on psychoeducation and coping mechanisms on diverse topics including anxiety and fear, guilt and survivors guilt, defeat and hopelessness, trauma, and burnout and stress.

Mental Health Primer for Providers Serving Digital Rights Defenders is the new and first ever educational toolkit designed for psychosocial providers and/or mental health professionals serving (or wanting to serve) digital rights defenders (DRD). It gives insights that can help reduce the barriers and gaps DRDs experience when seeking psychosocial support and services, and help mental health providers improve the care they offer.

Join us for our upcoming village, “Digital Rights Perspectives from the South,” which will run from June 6 to 14. The Village will feature five interactive virtual sessions led by TCU’s four Community Leads and participants will have space to provide their perspectives and feedback.
