The 2020 Community Health Report: “Building Stronger Communities - The case for mental health support for digital rights defenders”  is being published next week!

The first report of its kind in the digital rights space, through a community health lens, it provides a snapshot of the wellbeing of digital rights and internet freedom networks around the world.  It also offers insight into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of digital rights defenders.

To celebrate its release, we have designed a supercalifragilistic sticker pack for Signal, a widely popular encrypted messaging app that allows you to communicate securely with others. The new Digital Rights Self Care sticker pack features various self-care messages and reminders.  You can keep the stickers for yourself as daily nudges to look inward, and share them with your friends, family, and extended community to promote self-care and let people know they are loved.

The  sticker messages were co-created by the Director of our Community Health Program, Selma Zaki, who also led the research for the Community Health Report.

Your work deserves celebration, and we know that this past year has been incredibly tough on all fronts. We hope these Signal stickers are a reminder for you to take a deep breath, reflect on your health, and relax.

Below is a taste of what you can get in the sticker pack. If you want the full monty, download the full Digital Rights Self Care sticker pack here.
