IFEX is a global network of over 100 member organizations across 70 countries, dedicated to promoting and defending freedom of expression as a fundamental human right. We talked with their Executive Director, Rachael Kay, to learn more about their history, members, and key initiatives, such as the No Impunity Campaign, the Collaboration Project, and Faces of Free Expression.

To submit a booth proposal, first apply to attend the GG through the GG platform. Once approved, you will be able to select “Submit a Booth Proposal” from your dashboard. This option is only available to approved GG attendees.

The Jordan Open Source Association (JOSA) works toward a better Jordan through openness in technology, believing the Internet should remain open and accessible to everyone, with no technical, legal, or physical barriers to devices, networks, or content. The Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI) is a free software and non-profit organization that empowers decentralized efforts to document internet censorship worldwide. They have collected more than two billion network measurements in over 200 countries. We talked with their Director of Strategic Engagement, Maria Xynou, to learn more about the OONI Probe app, which measures the blocking of websites and apps worldwide, as well as their real-time analysis and reports shedding light on internet censorship and other forms of network interference.
